OLIVER TUTHILL BIO (Founder)
Oliver Tuthill has been a published professional writer for over 30 years.
He has been involved with a number of successful projects. Now, he is offering to help other writers turn their novels into screenplays. Tuthill’s screenplays have won many awards, and he has written for well-known actors such as Academy Award-nominated actor Graham Greene, the late Russell Means, and John Savage.
Oliver has been producing films for over two decades. He began by directing documentaries with the faculty at the Art Institute in Seattle, WA. Also, in conjunction with the Art Institute of Seattle, he specialized in producing public service announcements for non-profits. In 1995, he formed his first film company, Autumn Tree Productions. Through Autumn Tree, he directed and produced educational documentaries, which have been distributed internationally. During his work with Autumn Tree, he won multiple Telly Awards, and in 2002, he received the Washington State Governor’s Award for outstanding educational films from then-Governor Gary Locke. He formed Blue Wood Films, LLC, in 2005, and since this time, he has directed and produced multiple documentaries and feature films.
As a producer, Oliver has successfully placed films with multiple distributors, both domestically and internationally.
TARA WAKLER BIO (Co-Founder)
Tara Walker has been writing screenplays for over a decade.
Her first feature-length screenplay was the Cunning Little Vixen, based on the popular Leos Janacek opera. It was co-written with Drugstore Cowboy screenplay writer, Daniel Yost. Over the years, Walker has written numerous feature-length screenplays, including the script for the film, A Star For Rose, starring John Savage (The Deer Hunter) and Golden-Globe winning actress Debbie Allen (Fame), Lovechild, and the award-winning film, Resilience. Walker has also worked as a script consultant with her current co-writer, Oliver Tuthill, on his feature film, The Right to Bear Arms, starring John Savage. In addition to this, with Tuthill, Walker has two feature-length screenplays currently in development, Devoted, a Hitchcock-inspired mystery, and Fighting Blind, the story of Olympic gold-winning boxer, Sugar Ray Seales. Walker and Tuthill were recently hired to adapt the screenplay from Dr. Kevin Schewe’s acclaimed book, Bad Love Tigers. The screenplay has won many awards internationally, on the film festival circuit, and it is currently in development. Walker enjoys helping other writers with their screenplays, whether it be working with them through conceptual development or assisting with a re-write or adaptation from a novel.
